The lovingly restored Grade II listed country house and timber framed barns, granaries and stables will all be open for view, with members of our team on hand to take you on a tour of the 20 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds and gardens in the resident Tuk Tuk.

South Farm is an enchanting and distinctly different venue for romantic country weddings, special family parties and celebrations, and memorable corporate events. Wedding Ceremonies are conducted outdoors in the Summer House, in the Tudor Barn, the Old Dairy and the Drawing Room. Guests enjoy exclusive use of the whole property.

Our elegant buildings and enchanting grounds, totally secluded and set deep in the countryside, provide the perfect backdrop for Weddings large and small. The setting is exclusive, the style is yours, and we are totally flexible. The choice of programme, food, drinks, decorations and entertainment rests with you. Our food is outstanding, widely acclaimed and largely organic and home grown. We believe the Wedding Feast is at the heart of the greatest day of your lives, and we aim to make it the best and most memorable meal you could wish for. After all, it’s probably the most important you will ever order!

Get married outdoors in the Summer House (180), or indoors, in the Drawing Room for intimate ceremonies (up to 35), the Old Dairy (105) or the splendid Tudor Barn (180). The house leads onto the lawns, the Sunset Terrace flanks the Old Dairy and the Barnyard sits at the heart of the property beside the Tudor Barn. Rain or shine, there is a perfect array of lovely spaces to use and enjoy.

The property lies in the heart of the countryside on the Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire borders. It is ideally located for Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, the A1 and M11 corridors and only 37 minutes by train to London. Stansted and Luton airports are only 35 minutes away or Heathrow 70 minutes.

With a luxurious Bridal Suite, 4 additional bedrooms and a unique fleet of Romany caravans and Showman’s wagons we can accommodate up to 24 guests with any number of campers welcome too.

Our winter wedding offer is available for all couples booking a South Farm wedding by 31st January 2022. Couples wishing to take advantage of this offer must visit South Farm for a show round in January 2022 and place a date on provisional hold by 31st January 2022, with bookings confirmed within our standard timeframe.

All dates between 28th - 30th December 2022 are subject to a Friday Venue Hire so the 25% discounted venue hire applies.
