Whether you seek a glamorous venue for your marriage ceremony, civil partnership, wedding breakfast or a reception, Stansted Park has the wow factor.
Our elegant Music Room is licensed for a ceremony with up to 80 seated guests. With far-reaching views into Sussex from the East Portico with its private lawns, it is truly a lovely setting for your ceremony. Our Bechstein piano can be played, and you can bring in your own framed family photos and flowers to personalise the room.
Our newly refurbished Main Hall makes a dramatic entrance with Corinthian style columns and luxurious furnishings, and is the perfect place to hold a drinks and canapé reception.
The stunning Drawing Room with its beautiful chandelier, hung with 18th century portraits, seats up to 50 for a formal ‘wedding breakfast’ and leads to the South Terrace with wonderful views of the Solent and dramatic sunsets. This room, and the Music Room, can be used together to host a cold or hot buffet for up to 100 guests.
For larger parties, a marquee can be sited on our south lawn.
After a civil ceremony in the House, some couples choose to hold a Service of Blessing in the charming Chapel of St Paul set in the grounds, just a short walk away from the House.
